How are the panels made?
Stamp Pressed Metal Panels are manufactured from quality grade aluminium from original dies and designs to original imperial measurements, feet and inches, (2’ x 6’) or approx. 600mm x 1800mm (60cm x 1.8m).
What are the sizes of the panels?
Selected designs are available in 900mm x 1800mm (Fleur, Maze, Snowflake, Acorns NSW, Brick, Mini Brick, Mini Lindfield, Buckingham Wallpaper, Stockholm, Paddington, Carlton, Geometric Fishscale small/medium and Dragonscale. Wall panels Banksia, Posy and Art Nouveau).
St Catherine, St Patrick, St Dennis, Grand Deco, Large Lindfield and Wuntel are only available 600mm x 600mm in aluminium.
Do I need to paint the panels?
Our pressed tin panels are manufactured from premium quality aluminium, which has a similar appearance of brushed stainless steel. It does not need to be painted if you like a metallic look.
If you want to paint the panels, they can easily be primed using etch primer for alloy, which is readily available from DIY stores.

What's the best method to clean my pressed metal panels?
Our pressed tin panels (as they are often called) are not made of tin, but of premium-quality aluminium. They are very lightweight, but durable. Cared for in the right way they can last for many years (ceilings for up to 100 years).
Cleaning instructions
Panels can be damaged by abrasive cleaners or scourers. To clean, wipe with a microfibre cloth, spray and wipe, or polish with a soft polishing cloth. Silicon-free furniture polish can also be used to create shine on the raw aluminium finish.
It’s suitable for wet areas such as bathroom walls, as long as the correct systems are followed.
How and where do you deliver the panels?
We send anywhere within New Zealand.
Delivery costs will depend on the size and number of panels that you order and your location.
If we need to order panels from Adelaide Pressed Metal, your quoted price includes all costs associated with packing, customs and foreign exchange.
